About Me
Hi! I’m Wendy Sutton. Thanks for coming to visit my website. Here is a little bit of my story …
I grew up in the western suburbs of Melbourne in a beautiful California Bungalow in West Footscray. With my family, we travelled quite a bit and spent time living in the UK and The Philippines, where I was fortunate to experience different cultures and was exposed to amazing world of international art and architecture. From there my love of art and design began to grow.
I worked in the legal profession for more than 25 years before embarking on a brave new adventure into the drastically different world of interior design.
I first studied interior design whilst living in Seattle in the 2000’s. After a few home makeovers of my own, and feeling ready for a full time career change, I decided to return to my passion and complete my interior design qualification back home in Australia. During my return to study and through the formative years of my business, I worked in the residential construction industry, as then in the bathware and heating, to broaden and strength my knowledge base.
I take design inspiration from nature and all the beauty that the Australian landscape and seascape has to offer. I also love to incorporate influences from countries and cultures from anywhere in the world, and celebrate the diverse culture that is Australia.
